Silver wire will retain its silver colour and will not corrode near salt water. Black PVC wire is available for brushwood and thatching if required. An estimated 15m of wire is required per metre of brushwood fencing at 1.8m high. For brushwood fencing, wires should be spaced at 250mm to 280mm centres, panel clips and capping wire should be evenly spaced at around 400mm. The bottom wire should be a minimum of 120mm from ground level. The top wire should be 60mm down from the top of the posts. The centre wires should be spaced evenly. Wire is available in 750m, 600m or 450m rolls.
